In 2006 I began looking for a good website where it might be possible to display various images from my growing collection.
Some of these images were of scenes taken while traveling the USA on the job and others were taken nearer home by visiting various public places such as parks and the local zoo in Wichita Kansas. My first attempt at this was in signing up with Webshots and posting images there, and did eventually posted around 900 images there along with the many other members there.
This time around I wanted to go beyond simple posting and was looking for better possibilities.
Something that would offer worthwhile purpose and intrigue to my developing hobby of amateur photography.
In early March of '08 I found the Zazzle.com website. In searching through the various product categories they have listed there I soon felt I had discovered exactly what I had been searching for.
A website allowing for the creation of various gift type items using art, photography or digital means.
Other pluses are free membership, unlimited uploads of images, the ability to add text to your work, such as when creating greeting cards and much more.
So for those looking for something to do in your spare time that will have you rethinking how you use your camera and where to go with it, Zazzle.com I believe offers you such a possibility.
For the most part I have created images along the lines of posters and prints.
Visit my Gallery, Shadowchasers Realm at Zazzle.com to discover more of what I do with my images. It's something you can do too!

Zazzle Friends Section
In this section I want to take the opportunity to link to many of the very nice Galleries I have discovered at Zazzle.com since joining in March of 2008.
First I should offer a bit more information about what Zazzle.com offers members.
Zazzle.com is free to join and with a membership one can get very creative using images you have taken or with art you created and you may also use images you created using computer software.
There are many categories to choose from for item creation. Some of these include making posters or prints from your images, mouse pads, cups and mugs, postage stamps, skateboards, tennis shoes, magnets, stickers, various cards including business cards, calendars, key chains , T shirts and much more. Using a personal Gallery there one can upload images in many formats and easily create various items. These are listed both by category and using keywords so search engines will find them. There appears to be no limit to how many items you can offer for sale at Zazzle and many members have over a thousand assorted items. Additionally the Zazzle.com system assist in creating with information as well as an automated design system.
Well for a great way to explore the possibilities having some fun with your images , Zazzle.com offers the best opportunity I have found to date, and it is truly free to use, no matter how many items you end up with. Now that;s a very good deal.

As I mentioned above a variety of ways to create images are out there and the means I typically use is that of photography and my camera is a Panasonic Lumix 10.1 mega pixel digital camera.
I occasionally venture out with two friends who are also seriously interested in photography and
together we often look for photographic opportunities and from these post the best of them in the form of an item offered at Zazzle.com.
Since I know them personally of all those whose works I have admired at Zazzle.com I will list them first.
With each member listed I will show one item of the many they offer at their Gallery.
To list many more would overload the Blog s display capacity, however clicking any name will take you to that respective members Gallery where you may view all their product's.
Enjoy!

Safirelady
Thanks to her profound interest in both nature and photography she originally inspired me to re-knew my years long interest in photography and do something worthwhile with it along the lines of amateur photography. What she finds to photograph continues to amaze me and there is no telling what that will be next. Using a Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 she manages to get some true beauty online from time to time.
Visit Safirelady's Blog here at Blogger by clicking here. She tells it like it is, and writes far better than I.

Saturn154
Saturn is an over the road driver and when and where possible manages to capture some stunning images while he travels throughout parts of the USA.
He studied photography and from that and experience in general displays truly en-lighting skills with his Cannon digital camera. His items are as imaginative as any I've seen and his images can be rare indeed.
This example of a road spanning Rainbow from his Gallery illustrates what I mean fairly well.
